Directions: apply lightly to the affected area.
Important: Do not use more than 3 or 4 times daily.
This cream contains: 0.5% hydrocortisone.
Store at room temperature, between 15oC and 30oC.
Do not refrigerate. KEEP OUT OF THE REaCH OF CHILDREN.

Should not be used in or around the eyes, applied to large areas of the body, or used to treat vulvar itching associated with vaginal discharge.
Do not use for more than 7 days. If the product does not seem to the working within a few days to a week, if symptoms last beyond 7 days, or if symptoms return after you stop using Hydrosone, consult your doctor.
Tell all health professionals involved in your care that you have been using this medication.
Systemic absorption: In some situations, the medication may be absorbed systemically (into the bloodstream). These situations include: prolonged use, application over a large area of the body, use of an occlusive dressing (including plastic diapers), rectal administration, or use in children. To reduce the risk of side effects due to the medication entering the bloodstream during long-term treatment, measures such as interrupting treatment periodically or treating one body area at a time may be used.
People with an elevated body temperature should not use occlusive dressings.
Medical conditions: This medication should be used with caution in people who are taking immunosuppressants, or have stasis dermatitis and other skin diseases associated with impaired circulation. People with skin infections should use appropriate anti-infective therapy.
allergic reactions: allergic reactions are rare. However, if you notice signs of an allergic reaction (such as skin rash, hives, swelling of the face and throat or difficulty breathing), stop using the medication and consult your doctor.
Skin effects: Long-term treatment with this medication may cause atrophy of the skin and of subcutaneous tissues, especially on flexor surfaces and on the face. If you notice these effects, stop using the product and consult your doctor.
Pregnancy and lactation: This medication is generally considered to be compatible with pregnancy and lactation. If this medication is needed during pregnancy, the smallest amount possible should be applied, for the shortest time necessary to treat the condition, under the supervision of a physician.
Children: Do not use on children under 2 years old unless directed by a physician. Children have a greater body surface area and may be more likely to absorb this medication into their bloodstream through the skin. This may increase their risk of side effects including growth retardation, increased blood pressure in the brain, Cushing's syndrome, HPa axis suppression, and decreased immune system function.
